Heather Feldner will serve as the PI for a grant from the UW Center for Leadership and Innovation in Medical Education (CLIME) Competitive Small Grants Competition. In a partnership between Rehabilitation Medicine, Disability Studies, and the D Center (D/deaf/Disability Cultural Center), our team will explore experiences of ableism and allyship from students, staff, and faculty who identify as disabled/with a disability across UW Campuses. Our goal is to co-create a series of disability allyship training modules that can be deployed across campus units to maximize inclusion and access, and bring disability and intersectionality more deeply into conversations and actions around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives.
